  • Patent number: 10628925
Abstract: A method for determining a point spread function of an imaging system. The method includes: for each position in a plurality of positions of a target in an optical field of the imaging system: acquiring an image of the target, referred to as the real image; obtaining a synthetic image of the target representing a digital model of the target adjusted to a zone of the real image corresponding to the target so that the model coincides with the zone; estimating the point spread function using the real image and the synthetic image; and calculating an optical transfer function by applying a Fourier transform to the point spread function; calculating an average optical transfer function from the optical transfer functions calculated for each position in the plurality of positions; and obtaining an average point spread function by applying an inverse Fourier transform to the average optical transfer function.

  • Patent number: 10120334
Abstract: A system for recording a digital hologram of an object comprises: a coherent source intended to illuminate the object and thus produce a wave diffracted by the object; and a digital sensor intended to record the digital hologram of the object. It furthermore comprises a spatial phase modulating assembly able to produce in the plane of the sensor a plurality of duplicates of the wave diffracted by the object, the duplicates being offset from each other but overlapping partially, these duplicates forming on the sensor a digital hologram of the object, this hologram being what is referred to as a self-reference hologram.

  • Publication number: 20160033269
Abstract: The invention relates to a method (100) for determining a distance between an object and an imaging system, characterised in that it comprises the steps consisting in: estimating (110) the modulation transfer function of the imaging system at the distance of the object with respect to said system, determining (120) the aberration frequencies of the estimated modulation transfer function, and generating an aberration frequency vector, implementing (130) a principal component analysis of the vector, in order to determine the principal component of the vector, and using the principal component obtained, determining (140) a distance of the object with respect to the system according to a joint distribution of the probability densities between principal components of aberration frequency vectors of imaging systems and object-system distances.
