Abstract: A color image-forming process is described, comprising developing an exposed silver halide light-sensitive material with an aromatic primary amine color developing agent in the presence of an .alpha.-acyl-.alpha.-unsubstituted or substituted phenoxyacetanilide type yellow coupler having a sulfamoyl group in an m-position of the acetanilido group with respect to the amino group.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material containing a yellow color coupler represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a halogen atom; R.sub.4 represents an aryl group which may be substituted; and X.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of coupling off.The color photographic light-sensitive material provides a yellow color image having exceptional fastness to light.
