    Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods, systems, and devices for establishing dosing parameters for a drug administration device and establishing compatibility of components of the drug administration device. In an exemplary embodiment, a method can include acquiring data from a drug holder and communicating the data to a processor, communicating a relevant subset of dosing parameter data from a server to the processor, and establishing dosing parameters for a drug administration device based on the relevant subset of dosing parameter data. The relevant subset of dosing parameter data is determined based on the drug holder data. The method can include acquiring first component data relating to a first component of the drug administration device, comparing the first component data with acceptable first component data, and setting an operational status of the drug administration device based on the comparison.

In general, a nasal drug delivery device is configured to dispense therefrom first and second doses of a drug therefrom into a nose. The drug delivery device includes a mechanical stop configured to provide a pause between the delivery of the first and second doses. During the pause, a user of the drug delivery device can move the drug delivery device from one nostril, into which the first dose was sprayed, to another nostril, into which the second dose can be sprayed. The mechanical stop is configured to hold the drug delivery device in a static delivery state.

    Abstract: In general, methods, systems, and devices for remote aggregation of data for drug administration devices are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, data indicative of information sensed with a sensor of a drug administration device can be wirelessly transmitted from a drug administration device to a server. The server can use the data to correlate the patients use of the drug with the patients clinical outcome, perform a cost analysis of the patients treatment, determine whether the drug was delivered to the patient in compliance with the patients treatment plan, identify a malfunction in the administration of the drug, determine that additional data is needed from the drug administration device and trigger a request for the additional data to be wirelessly transmitted from the server to the drug administration device, and/or predictively model the patients clinical outcome.

    Abstract: Various training devices and methods for simulating intranasal drug delivery are described. In one exemplary embodiment, a training device can include an outer sleeve, a locking sleeve coupled to the outer sleeve, a core sleeve coupled to the locking sleeve, and a plunger operatively coupled to the core sleeve. The plunger can be configured to selectively translate the core sleeve from an initial position to a first actuated position that indicates the release of a first simulated dose of a drug, and from the first actuated position to a second actuated position that indicates the release of a second simulated dose of the drug, in which the device does not contain the drug. The plunger can also be configured to rotate relative to the outer sleeve to reset the core sleeve to the initial position such that the core sleeve can be translated back to the first and second actuated positions.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to drug administration. In an exemplary embodiment, a system can include a drug administration device configured to dispense a drug to a patient, a monitoring device configured to log a delivery event of drug delivery from the drug administration device into the patient, and a sensor configured to sense a patient parameter following delivery of the drug into the patient. In another exemplary embodiment, a drug administration device can include a drug holder configured to hold a drug, a dispensing mechanism configured to dispense the drug, and a sensor configured to sense a patient parameter, and the drug administration device can be configured to locally activate the drug at a target location in the patient.
