Abstract: Systems and methods of a battery assembly are disclosed. The battery assembly includes an extruded housing, a plurality of battery cells within the extruded housing forming a plurality of cell blocks, and a circuit coupled to the cell blocks and configured to connect one or more of the cell blocks selectively in parallel or series. A cell block within the plurality of cell blocks may be selectively isolated from each other cell block within the plurality of cell blocks using the circuit. The cell block within the plurality of cell blocks may include a series connected string of battery cells. The cell block within the plurality of cell blocks may include parallel connected battery cells.
