More particularly, the invention relates to a composite polymer matrix carrier comprising at least one thermoplastic polymer, at least one cellulose derivative, and at least one active agent, and the method for manufacturing same. The invention also relates to the use of a cellulose derivative for improving the incorporation of active agents in a thermoplastic polymer matrix.
