The staves can be of different types including French oak, white oak, or American white oak. Once the staves are extracted from the wine barrel, they are reused to create a medium back-drop for painting and artwork. Much like an artist that uses a canvas for the back drop of a painting, the constructed three-dimensional medium made is used as a back drop for a variety of artworks including paintings of custom flags, images, and portraits.
