  • Publication number: 20130030622
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a waste heat management system of an electric vehicle. In particular, a pump for controlling the flow of cooling fluid, an OBC cooling fluid line and a motor cooling fluid line which diverge in parallel from an outlet of a cooling fluid line of the fluid pump, and a heater core cooling fluid line and a radiator cooling fluid line which are respectively connected in parallel with a junction of an inlet of the fluid pump cooling fluid line and a junction of outlets of the heater core cooling fluid line and the radiator cooling fluid line, are interconnected to provide both heating and air-conditioning to the interior of the vehicle. Additionally, the present invention, also allows the motor to be preheated when the vehicle is not running.

  • Publication number: 20120036782
Abstract: A door actuator for an HVAC system of a vehicle includes a driving motor having a worm wheel and accommodated within a casing. An actuating gear has on an outer circumference thereof a worm thread that engages with the worm wheel, with an actuating thread being provided on a surface of the actuating gear. A change gear unit is hinged to the casing and rotatably engages with the actuating thread part. A solenoid unit rotates the change gear unit in a first or second direction. A first driving gear is provided at a predetermined position of the casing to engage with the change gear unit rotating in the first direction. A second driving gear is provided at a predetermined position of the casing to engage with the change gear unit rotating in the second direction.

  • Publication number: 20090289511
Abstract: A vibration absorbing bearing supports an armature shaft and a blower motor for vehicles. The vibration absorbing bearing may include a longitudinal groove which is formed on the inner circumference of the bearing in such a way as to extend in a longitudinal direction and hold a lubricant therein. The blower motor for vehicles may include a main body, a stator installed in the main body, an armature assembly installed in the main body and having an armature shaft, and the vibration absorbing bearing. Such a construction improves the durability of components and achieves the joining of the components and the absorption of vibration, thus efficiently isolating cogging noise.

  • Patent number: 7243527
Abstract: The sensing apparatus for a vehicle includes a case having an opening part formed so as to communicate with an outside. A printed circuit board is disposed inside of the case, and includes a circuit unit. A noxious gas sensing part is electrically connected with the circuit unit for sensing a noxious gas of an external air inflowing through the opening portion, and for outputting a sensing signal. A connector is disposed at least partially with the case, one end thereof being directly connected with the circuit unit, and the other end thereof being directly connected with an external device.

  • Patent number: 6009264
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and article of manufacture for coordinating a plurality of sub-tasks performed by a group of nodes of a parallel processor computer system. An application subdivides a function into the plurality of sub-tasks and assigns the sub-tasks to a group of participating nodes. A message is transmitted by the application to the group of participating nodes, wherein the message spawns one or more threads on each participating node and the threads are encapsulated by a virtual processor to perform a desired one or more of the sub-tasks. A channel object is created in all participating nodes and a coordinator node in response to the transmitted message, wherein the channel object in the coordinator node includes a data element identifying the group of participating nodes performing the sub-tasks.
