  • Process for preparing rifamycin derivatives

    Abstract: 3-Dialkylaminomethyl derivatives of rifamycin S is provided by reacting rifamycin S with an iminium salt in an organic solvent. This compound is converted to 3-dialkylaminomethyl derivatives by virtue of ascorbic acid.
