    Abstract: A non-screw assembled casing for computer mainframe comprised of an upper cover, a base and a front panel wherein the non-screw assembling structure comprises a first coupling section structure, a second coupling section structure and a third coupling section structure. The first coupling section structure includes a plurality of first fastening units provided on the bottom edge of the inner right side of the upper cover and on the bottom edge of the right side of the base. The second coupling section structure includes a plurality of second fastening units provided on the bottom edge of the inner left side of the upper cover and on the bottom edge at the left of the base.     Abstract: A sink strainer for a garbage disposal unit includes a strainer unit, a seat and a mounting flange. The strainer unit includes a handle, a strainer member and a plug member. The plug member has a platform and a surrounding wall depending from the platform on which multiple slope guide are located. The seat includes a limiter located at a lower portion of the seat, a stopping surface protruding from and surrounding a middle portion of the seat, a snapping portion at a top of the seat, and another snapping portion at a bottom of the seat. The mounting flange is provided at a top end with a flange portion and at a bottom end with a mounting portion. The sink strainer may further include a decorative flange having a flange portion and a snapping portion which are dimensioned and configured to abut on, and be engaged with, the flange portion and top snapping portion of the seat.

    Abstract: A structure of an interface seat for quickly engaging and disengaging with a back plate, an I/O port retaining plate, and a disk drive bracket on a computer base casing having a back plate, comprises an upper flange, an lower flange, and two side flanges. The back plate comprises a cut-out recess for disposing the interface seat. The upper flange of the interface seat is provided with an upper stop strip extended outward therefrom for abutting against the disk drive bracket. The lower flange is provided with a plurality of recesses for engaging with outward-inclined tabs provided on the top edge of the I/O retaining plate. Each of the side flanges is provided with a side stop strip extended outward therefrom for abutting against the back plate.

    Abstract: A multifunctional frame assembly for a personal computer includes a multifunctional frame having a speaker-engaged portion and a fan-engaged portion. The speaker-engaged portion has a pair of engaging members which define an opening. The fan-engaged portion has a surface with an orifice and a pair of stoppers each being provided with a pair of engaged hooks extending longitudinally and a pair of ribs on an inner wall of the stopper. A speaker is clamped between the engaging members and in alignment with the opening. A ventilating fan with a plurality of holes at the corner region thereof is installed between the ribs and in alignment with the orifice. A chassis of the computer having an end plate is provided with engaged holes corresponding to the engaged hooks of the stoppers, wherein the frame can be positioned by engaging the engaged hooks with the corresponding engaged holes on the end plate.

    Abstract: A front panel structure of a personal computer comprises upper hooking members and lower hooking members to secure the front panel to the casing of the personal computer in order to provide a fast and efficient way for mounting/dismounting the front panel. Four resilient upper hooking members are provided on the top edge of the front panel to be received within four corresponding upper slots formed on the computer casing and two resilient hooking members are formed on the lower edge of the front panel to be received within two corresponding lower openings formed on the computer casing to cooperate with the upper hooking members for securing the front panel on the computer casing. Several guiding and supporting tabs are provided to guide the mounting of the front panel and to further secure the front panel in position.

    Abstract: A multi-purpose frame for a computer comprises floppy disk seats and hard disk seats. The front end of the frame is provided with side hooks, front hooks and a downward urging retainer. The side portion of the frame is provided with interface card hooks, and the rear lower portion thereof is provided with a pair of L-shaped strips. Each of the hard disk seats is provided with fastening hooks and a resilient retainer, and one of the floppy disk seats is provided with dovetail grooves having a recess located in therebetween. The frame facilitates the dismounting and replacing of the disk drives, and which may be mounted to or dismounted from the computer base conveniently.

    Abstract: A fastening structure of a disk drive having a pair of dovetail seat plates is mounted to the lateral edges of the disk drive. Each end of the plate is dovetail shaped and the center region of the plate is extended upward to form a fastening plate having an inverse "L" shape. The end edge of the fastening plate is extended upward to form a press portion. The surface of the fastening plate is provided with a protruded strip. A disk drive securing support has two lateral sides for the mounting of disk drive. The inner wall of the lateral side has a dovetail groove of width corresponding to the dovetail seat plate. The lateral wall is provided with hole corresponding to the protruded strip. When mounting the disk drive, the dovetail seat plate is engaged into the dovetail groove of the disk drive securing support so as to cause the protruded strip to fasten with the hole, to complete the fastening of the disk drive.

    Abstract: A personal computer component support structure comprises a base casing having a front plate and a back plate with a main frame secured therebetween. The main frame comprises a front portion defining therein a two-staged interior space for respectively receiving therein a 51/4" floppy disk drive and a 31/2" floppy disk drive and a rear portion defining therein a second interior space for receiving therein at least one hard disk drive. An I/O port retaining plate and an interface seat are mounted on the back plate. A holder member for supporting a ventilation fan and a speaker is secured on an inside surface of the front plate of the base casing. A cover casing is slidably mounted on the base casing with a front panel disengagably attached to the cover casing and the base casing to define a housing of the computer.

    Abstract: A flexible grounding element comprises a rectangular base portion, and a pair of side portions extending obliquely and upward from the edges of the base portion. Each of the side portions includes a pair of slots at the intermediate portion of its edges. One of the side portions bends toward the other one of the side portions at the location adjacent to the slot to form a bend portion. The front end of the bend portion bends upward to form an end portion which contactably touches the inner side of the other side portion. As the side portions are being pressed, a portion of each side portion will pass through the hole of a mother board, and as the side portions are released, the slots thereof will urge against the inner rim of the hole to effect positioning. Furthermore, each corner of the base portion has a flexible plate which includes a protrusion at the bottom thereof.

    Abstract: An upstanding mother board structure comprises a rectangular pan-like mother board mounting plate on which a slidable U-shaped fastener is attached to secure the mother board mounting plate to the support bracket of a computer. The U-shaped fastener comprises a horizontal section and two vertical sections of which each of the vertical sections is guided by a pair of guiding members and each has a pair of protruding lugs formed in the end thereof to be biased by extension springs to secure the mother board mounting plate. A least one combination of gripper and positioning block is provided on the bottom plate of the base frame of the computer to guide the installation of the mother board mounting plate and to further securely fix the mother board mounting plate.

    Abstract: A resilient U-shaped, electrically conductive strip of which one limb has an end bent backward to form a hook and the other limb has a further-extended end. The strip is so formed that when the hook pinches the mother board of a computer and the further-extended end makes contact with the casing of the computer and thus forming an electrical connection therebetween. The electromagnetic waves generated by the computer are conducted to the casing and not allowed to leak out of the computer.

    Abstract: A personal computer with an upstanding structure comprises a U-shaped base frame and a support bracket, wherein the base frame constituted by a bottom plate, a front plate, and a rear plate; the support bracket is fixed between the front and rear plates of the base frame to install a conventional 51/4" floppy disk drive bracket and a power supply thereon, to install a 31/2" floppy disk drive bracket and a hard disk drive bracket thereunder. A card guide bracket which is used to install a speaker and a fan, and to guide interface cards is attached on the inner surface of the front plate of the base frame. A mother board mounting plate having a slidable snap-on fastener to secure on the support bracket is guided and positioned by a pair of guiding blocks formed on a lateral side of the bottom plate of the base frame and pushed into be secured by the snap-on fastener to a vertical disposition.

    Abstract: A fastening device comprising a fastener having a base fixed on the front panel of a computer casing and a plurality of resilient legs hanging therefrom. Each of the resilient legs has an outward convex foot formed on the end thereof so that when the fastener is pushed into a retaining hole formed on the computer casing to connect the front panel to the computer casing, the feet of the fastener are slightly and temporarily pushed inward when passing through the retaining hole and then spring back to retain the fastener in position when completely passing the retaining hole.
