Patent number: 11939086Abstract: A fuel tank comprises an interior wall, a sump, and a baffle that comprises a center fitting, a full-length containment petal, a partial-length containment petal, a dump tube. The full-length containment petal comprises a full-length side edge, extending radially outward from the center fitting. The partial-length containment petal comprises a partial-length side edge, extending radially outward from the center fitting. The dump tube is connected to the sump. The full-length side edge of the full-length containment petal is longer than the partial-length side edge of the partial-length containment petal. Publication number: 20240071257Abstract: A surgeon training apparatus includes a cassette, which includes biological tissue repurposed into a form consistent with the anatomical configuration of abdominal hernias, affixed into an anatomically correct silicon framework which replicates the abdominal anatomy. The framework positions the cassette in an anatomically correct position within the abdominal cavity, enabling surgeons to train using a properly positioned representation of the target anatomy, thus requiring the surgeon to properly use surgical tools to correct the pathologic condition caused by the hernia. The cassette is formed by applying biologic tissue to a specially designed “plate,” which affixes the tissue block into the anatomic framework, and is adapted for connection to a grounding device so the surgeon can use cautery during the simulated hernia repair.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 7, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: JOHN ALEXANDER, W. ANDREW GRUBBS, KAITY YU EMERSON, MORGAN DOMINICE MOORE, MEGAN HARRISION DEW, SAMUEL DAVID DREW

Publication number: 20240061146Abstract: A group of wells may be located within a region of interest. Multiple scenarios of boundary locations within a group of wells may be obtained. A top-and-base boundary pair, defining a package of interest, may be identified within the individual scenarios of boundary locations. A subsurface property of the package of interest within the individual scenarios of boundary locations may be determined, and the subsurface property of the package of interest within the individual scenarios of boundary locations may be used to determine a subsurface characteristic of the region of interest.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2021Publication date: February 22, 2024Inventors: Robert Chadwick HOLMES, Morgan David SULLIVAN, Ashley D. HARRIS, Fabien J. LAUGIER

Publication number: 20230351079Abstract: An intermediary well may be selected for a group of wells. The intermediary well may be used as an origin point from which branching wells paths are generated to connect the group of wells through the intermediary well. A shortest path between the intermediary well and the group of wells along the branching well paths may be identified, and the group of wells may be aligned along the shortest path. Boundaries of the intermediary well may be propagated to the aligned group of wells to establish correlation between segments of the intermediary well and segments of the aligned group of wells.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2021Publication date: November 2, 2023Inventors: Robert Chadwick HOLMES, Fabien J. LAUGIER, Ashley D. HARRIS, Morgan David SULLIVAN
