The position sensor mount includes an elastic body portion, a first rigid shell disposed on a distal portion of the elastic body portion, a second rigid shell disposed on a proximal portion of the elastic body portion, and a first adhesive disposed on the first rigid shell. The position sensor is mounted on the first rigid shell and configured to sense position information of the US imaging device in a coordinate system. The US imaging device is received by the position sensor mount and circumscribed by the first adhesive.
