  • Patent number: 10437984
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for authentication protocol elevation triggering based on situational instance. In this regard, the invention provides a dynamic platform for structuring a robotic process automation (RPA) application for determining authentication requirements in real-time by converting a user device into a virtual workstation. The invention configures a robotic process automation application for interacting with a first user interface of the first device application to identify situational events in real time. Another aspect of the invention is directed to escalating, in real-time, a level of authentication required for the user to execute the user activity based on at least the situational event identified by the robotic process automation application.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 26, 2017
Date of Patent: October 8, 2019
    Assignee: BANK OF AMERICA CORPORATION
Inventors: Elizabeth S. Votaw, Manu Jacob Kurian, Morgan Stewart Allen

  • Publication number: 20180359164
Abstract: A system includes a monitoring tool associated with a cloud service provider. The cloud service provider hosts a cloud network. The cloud network provides cloud-based services to at least a first user and a second user. The monitoring tool monitors events associated with physical components of the cloud network. The monitoring tool also determines a first subset of the physical components. The first subset includes physical components that provide one or more virtualized resources to the first user. The monitoring tool also determines a first subset of the events to communicate to the first user. The first subset of events includes events that are associated with the first subset of physical components during set up, use, and tear down of the one or more virtualized resources provided to the first user. The monitoring tool also communicates the first subset of events to the first user.
