  • Patent number: 5489882
Abstract: A balanced-type dielectric filter for use in a high frequency circuit without requiring a converter. The balanced-type dielectric filter includes a dielectric block having an approximately rectangular parallelepiped shape, at least two inner conductors being disposed in parallel-with a longitudinal direction of the dielectric block and having the length approximately equal to 1/2 of a selected wavelength. Outer conductors are disposed on at least two outside surfaces of the dielectric block and are parallel to the inner conductors. Two pairs of connecting conductors connect the two inner conductors to input and output terminals located on the side surfaced of the dielectric block, the terminals being insulated from the outer conductors.

  • Patent number: 5124676
Abstract: A dielectric filter having a generally box-like dielectric block, an outer conductor covering side surfaces of the dielectric block, a plurality of inner conductors arranged in the dielectric block in the longitudinal direction so as to extend between two opposite faces of the block, and a short-circuit conductor provided in one of the two faces of the dielectric block to connect the outer and inner conductors. At least one of the inner conductors has a rectangular cross-sectional shape, and the size of this sectional shape in the longitudinal direction of the dielectric block is increased at the face where the short-circuit conductor is provided, and is reduced at the other face.

  • Patent number: 4799033
Abstract: A microwave separator for separating a microwave signal to those having frequencies included in two frequency bands by means of a first band pass filter intended for the low frequency band and a second filter intended for the high frequency band, characterized in that said first band pass filter is of the comb line type and that said second band pass filter is of the coaxial type in which plural coaxial type resonators are connected one another in series through capacitors. As the result, microwave signals can be reliably separated at two adjacent frequency bands without any signal loss and the return losses of the band pass filters can be improved accordingly.

  • Patent number: 4761624
Abstract: A microwave band pass filter comprises a band pass filter of the coaxial type which is formed by connecting plural coaxial type resonators in series through capacitors, and another band pass filter of the comb line type connected in series to the coaxial type band pass filter, wherein lower cutoff frequencies for the coaxial type band pass filter are included in a pass band for the comb line type band pass filter while higher cutoff frequencies for the comb line type band pass filter are included in a pass band for the coaxial type band pass filter, so that the skirting characteristic can be made sharp at high and low bands even with fewer resonator stages.

  • Patent number: 4757284
Abstract: An interdigital line type dielectric filter acting as a bandpass filter at radio frequencies has a dielectric body on which a grounding electrode is formed. Two parallel exciter lines extend through the block. Several resonant lines are juxtaposed to one another between the exciter lines. One short-circuited end of each resonant line is connected to the grounding electrode, while the other open end is not connected to it. The short-circuited end and the open end of any one of the resonant lines are disposed on opposite sides of those of its neighboring one resonant line. Those portions of the block which are in the vicinities of the open ends of the resonant lines are cut out so that the open ends are exposed.

  • Patent number: 4638264
Abstract: A voltage controlled oscillator of the type wherein a variable capacitance diode is connected in parallel with a distributed parameter line functioning as a resonance circuit, whose capacitance varies in response to voltage control. To vary the resonance wavelength of the distributed parameter line a condenser is connected in series therewith, and the condenser is short-circuited by a switching diode. A coaxial dielectric line, strip line, coaxial cable, etc. may be used as the resonance circuit element by dividing the distributed parameter line into two parts and employing these elements as the divided parts.
