Abstract: A headrest bushing into which a headrest stay are inserted for supporting a head rest includes a lock mechanism for preventing disengagement of the headrest stay from the headrest bush; and an unlock mechanism having a button for unlocking the lock mechanism and a housing for accommodating which has an opening for manipulating the button, and wherein a surface of the button is placed inwardly from the opening of the housing. The surface of the button is placed correspondently to the opening of the housing or inwardly in a pressing direction from the opening of the housing. The headrest stay has a notch consisting of a horizontal surface and an inclined surface to increase its diameter of slowly downward from the deepest part of the horizontal surface, and wherein the horizontal surface of the notch engages with the lock mechanism.

Abstract: The present invention provides a seat apparatus having: a seat back; a forward tilt device that allows at least a portion of the seat back to tilt forward; a securing device that secures the seat back at a vehicle body side; and a release strap that is used for releasing a securing condition of the securing device and has a grip portion. The release strap has a first condition in which the grip portion is positioned at a rear side of the seat back and a second condition in which the grip portion is positioned at a portion so as to be accessible from a front side of the seat back, and one of the first condition and the second condition of the release strap can be selected.

Load sensors are provided between the seat cushion assembly and the moving rails. The first stationary rail and the second stationary rail are connected to each other by a rigid frame. The rigid frame can maintain the relative positions of the first and second slide rail units. Body mounting leg portions provided on the rigid frame are fixed to a seat mounting portion of a vehicle body.
