  • Patent number: 8894289
Abstract: A sealing device for an axle bearing includes a lubricant maintained on sliding contact surfaces, thereby suppressing elevation of torque due to the depletion of grease. A lubricant-adsorbing layer comprises a thickener and a binder. The lubricant comprises a base oil and a thickener. The thickener and the thickener are mutually attracted. A lubricant layer of a prescribed thickness is formed on the lubricant-adsorbing layer. • Patent number: 7568334
Abstract: A pin is relatively rotatably fitted into a pin hole formed in an outer link plate of a chain. A plurality of helical grooves are formed on an outer circumferential surface of the pin. A pitch P between adjacent helical grooves in the axial direction is equal to or less than a width in the axial direction of the pin hole of the outer link plate. At least one helical groove is arranged to oppose an arbitrary generatrix on an inner circumferential surface of the pin hole. Also, when a radius of the pin is R and a relative rotation angle with the mating member is ?, a pitch P? in the circumferential direction between adjacent helical grooves is R? or less. Thus, at least one helical groove is arranged to always pass each position in a sliding range between the pin and the pin hole.

  • Patent number: 7008196
Abstract: The electrically motorized pump has a low energy loss because it uses of the shaft and the sleeve made from synthetic resin composition obtained by uniformly dispersing fine powder of RBC or CRBC in a resin. The typical process for the production of a synthetic resin composition for making the sleeve bearing for the pump for use in water includes kneading with a resin the fine powder of RBC or CRBC at a temperature in the neighborhood of the melting point of the resin, and thereby uniformly dispersing the fine powder of RBC or CRBC in the resin. Fibers, such as glass fibers, may be blended with the fine powder of RBC or CRBC and the resin.

  • Publication number: 20050124750
Abstract: According to the invention, a synthetic resin composition for the manufacture of parts which require a low coefficient of friction for example bearing parts or other sliding parts having a number of desirable properties is provided. The resin composition is made of a fine powder of RBC, CRBC and mixtures of RBC and CRBC dispersed in a synthetic resin. The RBC and/or CRBC fine powder have an average particle diameter of less than 10 ?m, optionally 1 to less than 10 ?m, preferably 1 ?m to 5 ?m. Desirably the weight percent of the RBC and/or CRBC is from 10% to 70% preferably from 30% to 70% of the entire composition and is uniformly dispersed in the resin. In another aspect of the invention, parts desirably having particularly a low coefficient of friction are fabricated according to the invention from the resin composition.
