    Abstract: An NC apparatus in which a single interface is used in common with both an NC operation board and a machine operation board to thereby reduce the apparatus in size and the interfaces in number. A run code generator is provided on the machine operation board, which is removably connected with the interface, for putting the controlling program, which is the high-level language program, into the run state. The interface is a serial interface, preferably an RS-232 type interface.
