Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material which comprises a support having thereon a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the photographic light-sensitive material contains a blocked photographic agent therein represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A represents a photographic agent moiety which is bonded to a blocking moiety through a hetero atom or a group which is bonded to a blocking moiety through a hetero atom and capable of releasing a photographic agent upon a subsequent reaction after the group is released; Y represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; and Z represents an atomic group necessary to form a carbocyclic ring or a heterocyclic ring.The precursor of photographic agent is completely stable during the preservation of the photographic light-sensitive material and releases a photographic agent at a desired time upon the processing of the photographic light-sensitive material.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. Their material is comprised of a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex. This latex is comprised of a recurring unit of a cyan coupler monomer capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent represented by the general formula (I) and a recurring unit of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing an acid component represented by the general formula (II) and a recurring unit of methyl acrylate. ##STR1## The cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex has excellent color forming properties and photographic material containing the coupler latex provides a cyan image having good fastness to heat and the combination of heat and humidity. A method for forming a color image utilizing the disclosed photographic material containing the novel couple of latex is also disclosed.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material in which both a coupler capable of releasing a diffusible development restrainer by coupling and a polymer coupler latex are present to increase visual sharpness.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprised of a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex is disclosed. The cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex is comprised of at least one repeating unit capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent represented by the general formula (Ia) and at least one repeating unit represented by the general formula (II): ##STR1## the substituents within the general formulae are disclosed within the specification. The cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex has excellent color forming properties and the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material which contains the latex provides a photograph in which the occurrence of color stain due to light is substantially prevented. A method of forming a color image using the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is also described.

The polymer coupler latex having a layered structure has an exceptionally good color forming property and is capable of forming a dye with a high yield and without the formation of undesired stains and fogs. The silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material containing the polymer coupler latex has good film strength and a reduced layer thickness and provides a color image having an improved sharpness. A method of forming a color image using the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is also disclosed.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material containing a 4-equivalent magenta color image forming polymer coupler latex and at least one compound capable of reacting with and fixing formaldehyde gas. The silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material has good film strength and a reduced layer thickness. It is possible to avoid the decrease in color density and the formation of fog normally present when the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is stored for a long period of time in contact with formaldehyde gas.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is described containing a magenta color image forming polymer coupler latex and at least one compound represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group; and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents a tertiary alkyl group and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be the same or different. The disclosed silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material has good film strength, a reduced layer thickness and provides a stable magenta image having an improved sharpness and fastness to light while preventing the formation of yellow stain in non-image areas. A method of forming a color image using the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is also described.

The 2-equivalent photographic cyan couplers have high coupling speed and excellent dispersibility.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is described containing a colorless photographic cyan color-forming coupler having, in a position for coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, a coupling-off group represented by the formula (I)--O--(R.sub.1 S).sub.x (R.sub.2 S).sub.y R.sub.3 (I)wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents an alkylene group; R.sub.3 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group; x represents a positive integer; and y represents 0 or a positive integer.The photographic cyan color-forming coupler exhibits excellent dispersibility and color-forming properties.
