  • Patent number: 9435461
Abstract: A controller of an electromagnetic valve driving circuit include a switching element connected to an electromagnetic valve solenoid, a cutoff circuit for cutting off a connection between a power supply and the switching element, and a current detecting unit for detecting a current flowing in the solenoid. The controller includes an abnormality diagnosing unit for outputting a cutoff command to the cutoff circuit for cutting off the connection between the power supply and the switching element, and outputting a switching command causing the switching element to perform a switching operation when a predetermined diagnosis condition is satisfied, and determining that the cutoff circuit normally operates when the solenoid current is less than a threshold value and determining that the cutoff circuit operates abnormally when the solenoid current is greater than or equal to the threshold value while outputting the cutoff command and the switching command.

  • Patent number: 8888370
Abstract: A slide bearing for internal combustion engines includes a metal layer having an inner peripheral surface extending along at least a part of a cylindrical shape and a resin coating layer formed on the inner peripheral surface. The inner peripheral surface has annular or helical groove sections extending in a generally circumferential direction of a cylindrical shape such that the inner peripheral surface has protrusion sections, which are arranged adjacent to each other in an axial direction of the cylindrical shape and which extend in the generally circumferential direction. The resin coating layer matches the shapes of the groove sections and the protrusion sections. When t is average coating thickness of the resin coating layer at positions different from crests of the protrusion sections and Rpk is reduced peak height of the resin coating layer, t and Rpk satisfy the following relations: 1.0 ?m?t?5.0 ?m; and 0.06?Rpk/t?5.04.

  • Publication number: 20130004364
Abstract: An Al-based bearing alloy includes 1 to 15 mass % of Si. In the Al-based bearing alloy, an average of A/a is greater than 1 and equal to or less than 4, where A represents a distance between adjacent Si particles residing on a sliding-side surface, and a represents a length of a major axis of the Si particles.
