Abstract: Disclosed herein is a caliper brake. The caliper brake according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a disc rotating together with a wheel of a vehicle; a housing including a finger formed to be bent on one side, a cylinder formed to oppose the finger on the other side, and a bridge provided between the finger and the cylinder, and provided to cover at least a part of the disc; a piston provided in the cylinder to move forward and backward to and from the finger; and a pad assembly provided in each of the finger and the cylinder to press or release both sides of the disc by moving forward and backward by the piston, and at least one of the housing, the piston, or the pad assembly is provided with a first material including wood or by combining the first material and a second material that is metal.

Abstract: The invention concerns a multi-part brake caliper for a vehicle disc brake, the brake caliper comprising: a first part comprising a portion that is arrangeable at a first side face of a brake disc of the vehicle disc brake and that is configured to receive a brake piston; a second part that is formed separately from the first part and comprises a finger portion that is arrangeable at a second side face of the brake disc; wherein the first part is a metal casted part and the second part comprises sheet metal and wherein the second part further comprises at least one at least partially enclosed hollow section.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the present disclosure, a guide pin allowing a caliper housing to be slidably coupled to a carrier during braking, includes a cylindrical guide shaft portion; and a head portion provided at one end of the guide shaft portion in an enlarged diameter form, and the guide shaft portion is provided in a form in which at least a portion of a center thereof is hollow in an axial direction to form a hollow portion.
