Patent number: 11319911Abstract: A fuel injection valve includes: a coil; a stationary core to generate a magnetic force; a movable structure including a moving core and a valve body and internally having a movable flow passage; and a body that internally accommodates the movable structure and internally has a part of the flow passage. The movable structure includes a throttle portion at which a passage area of the movable flow passage is partially throttled. The flow passage includes a throttle flow passage defined by the throttle portion and a separate flow passage between the movable structure and the body. A passage area of the separate flow passage is smaller than a passage area of the throttle flow passage. A position of the separate flow passage in a direction perpendicular to a moving direction of the movable structure is different from an outermost peripheral position of the moving core.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2019Date of Patent: May 3, 2022Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Makoto Saizen, Shuichi Matsumoto, Keita Imai, Moriyasu Goto

Patent number: 7946829Abstract: A jet pump is disclosed through which a liquid flows. The jet pump includes a jet nozzle including an injection port for injecting the liquid. The jet pump also includes a throat pipe including a throat passage that extends linearly. The throat pipe includes a downstream side with an open part, and the liquid injected from the injection port flows into the throat passage. The liquid in the throat passage forms a liquid seal across a cross section of the throat passage to generate negative pressure, which introduces the liquid into the throat passage.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2007Date of Patent: May 24, 2011Assignees: Denso Corporation, Nippon Soken Inc.Inventors: Kiyokazu Akiyama, Moriyasu Goto, Takahiko Kato

Patent number: 7753337Abstract: In a fluid injection valve, a valve needle and a moving core are installed in the valve housing to be slidable in an axial direction. The moving core has a through hole in which the valve needle is slidably inserted. A stopper provided on the valve needle moves the valve needle integrally with the moving core when the moving core travels toward the fixed core with respect to the needle valve. An elastic member biases the valve needle away from the fixed core, and a helical spring biases the moving core toward the fixed core. A spring seat supports one axial end of the helical spring in both of the axial direction and a radial direction of the helical spring.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2007Date of Patent: July 13, 2010Assignees: Denso Corporation, Nippon Soken, Inc.Inventors: Yoshihito Suzuki, Moriyasu Goto, Toyoji Nishiwaki

Patent number: 7309031Abstract: A fuel injection valve includes a fuel injection port, a needle for cutting the fuel flow into the fuel injection port and a needle mover for moving the needle away from the fuel injection port and allowing the fuel to flow into the fuel injection port. When the needle is moved away from the fuel injection port by the needle mover, the force is applied by a force applicator to the needle away from the fuel injection port only during the period when the needle is moved away from the fuel injection port to less than a predetermined degree.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2004Date of Patent: December 18, 2007Assignees: Nippon Soken, Inc., Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Moriyasu Goto, Shigeiku Enomoto, Kazuhiro Omae

Patent number: 6719224Abstract: A fuel supply system has a pump, a common rail, and injectors. Pressurized fuel is stored in the common rail. The common rail distributes the fuel to the injectors. A liquid fuel and a liquefied gas fuel such as dimethyl ether and a liquefied petroleum gas may be used as a fuel. In each injector, a valve element is actuated directly by an electromagnetic actuator. The injector has a low pressure chamber for decreasing a biasing force which acts on the valve element in a valve closing direction. The valve element can be divided for replacement. The injector has means for suppressing the bounce of the valve element. A hydraulic unit which utilizes the fuel suppresses the bounce of the valve element. The fuel supply system is connected to a refrigerating cycle. The fuel leaking from the fuel supply system is cooled and again liquefied by the refrigerating cycle.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2002Date of Patent: April 13, 2004Assignees: Nippon Soken, Inc., Denso CorporationInventors: Shigeiku Enomoto, Moriyasu Goto, Tetsuo Morita, Masaaki Kato, Hisaharu Takeuchi
