The base is molded integrally with the heater portion and the connector portion. The connector portion includes a tubular housing having an open first end and a second end that is embedded in the base. A part of the housing that is embedded in the base includes a projection that projects from an outer peripheral surface of the housing. End faces on one side and an other side of the projection in the axial direction are joined to the base.

Abstract: A vehicle exterior component includes a plate-shaped main body and a heater sheet and a connector that are arranged on the main body. The heater sheet includes a sheet base and a heater wire including two terminals. The heater wire includes a part excluding the two terminals that is laid out on the sheet base at a side closer to the main body. The connector includes a connector housing and two connector pins fixed to the connector housing. Each connector pin includes a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion electrically connected to one of the terminals of the heater wire outside the connector housing. The heater wire includes a part that is laid out on the sheet base so that 50% or greater of the heater wire in a thickness direction of the main body is embedded in the sheet base.

Only one of the first and second base members includes a metal coating film formed on a region of an outer surface of the base member with which the other base member is not in contact. The second corner portion includes a groove forming portion. The groove forming portion forms a groove between itself and at least the curved wall surface of the first corner portion.
