Abstract: The invention relates to a tool and method for cleaning a wellbore. The tool includes a tubing string comprising an upper end and a lower end, and defining a first bore for allowing passage of fluid from the wellbore to surface; a guide string disposed inside the tubing string and defining an internal bore to run coiled tubing therethrough, the coiled tubing carrying at least one jet nozzle; at least one seal disposed around the tubing string for sealing against a well casing; at least one port defined by the tubing string and positioned above the seal for allowing fluid to pass therethrough; and at least one valve positioned below the seal to allow fluid to pass upward through the valve but not downward.

The lower portion has an inner or outer diameter greater than the diameter of the upper portion to form a first internal or external shoulder where the lower and upper portions are engaged. Seals are disposed on the conduit for sealing between the conduit and a well casing. One or more valve sections have a valve adapted to open during downwards motion through fluid and to close during upwards motion through fluid.

The seal is held in place on the tubular conduit by two shoulders formed where the upper and lower sections of the conduit meet a middle section. The upper end of the conduit is adapted to releasably engage the lower end of a bailer. The upper end of the conduit releasably engages the middle section and can be removed to replace the seals when worn. The apparatus has a valve section designed to releasably engage the lower end of the tubular conduit or the lower end of a bailer.
