  • Patent number: 9844296
Abstract: A beverage brewing device includes a water tank, a base, a filter, a plug assembly, and an actuator mechanism. The base supports the water tank above a support surface. The plug assembly connects with the water tank and is operable between an open operating position in which water can flow from the water tank through the plug assembly and a closed operating position in which water is precluded from flowing through the plug assembly. The actuator mechanism is movable between a first operating position and a second operating position. The actuator mechanism is cooperates with the plug assembly such that when in the first operating position the plug assembly is in the closed operating position and when in the second operating position the plug assembly is in the open operating position. The actuator mechanism includes an operator actuated surface that is accessible from an exterior of the base.

  • Publication number: 20170306995
Abstract: A cam lock mechanism for use with an associated consumer product includes a base member defining a receptacle. A cam member is received in the receptacle of the base member. The cam member has an engaged position wherein the cam member is configured to be non-movably fixed relative to the associated consumer product and a released position wherein the cam member is configured to be movable relative to the associated consumer product. A lever is hingedly connected to the cam member. The lever has a closed position wherein the lever is configured to move the cam member into the engaged position and an opened position wherein the cam member is in the released position.

  • Patent number: 9670043
Abstract: A corkscrew includes a main body, a grip moveably connected with the main body, a lever moveably connected with the main body, a worm operably connected with the lever, and a wrapper cutter detachably connected with the main body. The grip and the main body define a space configured to receive a neck of an associated bottle, such as a wine bottle. The worm connects with the lever such that movement of the lever results in movement of the worm. The wrapper cutter includes a cutting element for cutting a wrapper surrounding the neck of the associated bottle.

  • Publication number: 20170121047
Abstract: A container is provided with a cylindrical sidewall. A top flange projects from the cylindrical sidewall in a first direction by a first distance. A bottom flange projects from the sidewall in the first direction by a second distance that is less than the first distance. The top flange and the bottom flange extend circumferentially around the sidewall. A gap is formed between the top flange and the bottom flange.

  • Patent number: 9527624
Abstract: A case includes a first container, a second container, and a connector. The first container includes a first moveable door and a skirt. The first moveable door moves to selectively provide access to a first storage compartment in the first container. The skirt is made from a first material. The second container is made from a second material that is more pliable than the first material. The second container defines a second storage compartment. The second material is folded over the connector and connected with itself to attach the connector with the second container. An opening is provided in the skirt or in the connector. A barb protrudes from the skirt or from the connector. The barb is received in the opening to connect the connector and the second container with the first container.

  • Publication number: 20140276568
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are described for using an autoinjector device. In one aspect, an autoinjector device comprises a housing and a plunger slidably mounted to the housing, the plunger including a tapered region. An actuator urges the plunger with respect to the housing from a storage position to a launch position, and a friction element about a portion of the tapered region resists a movement of the plunger from the storage position to the launch position.
