  • Patent number: 5904624
Abstract: A golf putting trainer adapted for releasable attachment to a golf putter and for folding neatly into a storage position and placing in a golf bag when the training is completed. The golf putting trainer includes a "U" shaped grip support having a lower grip arm with strap for wrapping around a lower portion of a golf putter grip and an upper grip arm for engaging a butt end on an upper portion of the golf putter grip. A wrist swivel with wrist swivel adjustment nut is mounted on the upper grip arm. A lower end of a height adjustment rod is pivotly attached to the wrist swivel and secured thereto using a pivot adjustment nut. An upper end of the height extension rod is slidably received in a lower end of a height extension tube and secured thereto using a height extension nut. A forearm swivel tube is pivotly mounted on an upper end of the height extension tube and secured thereto using a forearm swivel nut.

  • Patent number: 5555821
Abstract: An apparatus and process for removing unburned carbon in fly ash. The apparatus includes a stainless steel heating chamber heated in a range from 800 to 1200 degrees F. The fly ash is introduced at one end of the heating chamber and moved slowly to an opposite end by a screw auger. The auger mixes the fly ash with oxygen. The oxygen is introduced at spaced apart heating areas along the length of the heating chamber. The oxygen accelerates the heating and burning of the unwanted carbon in the fly ash. The amount of oxygen introduced into the heating chamber is under computer control to regulate the temperature in the heating chamber and the heating of the fly ash. In the burning of the unwanted carbon in the fly ash, the carbon acts as a fuel in combination with the oxygen for heating the fly ash and removing the carbon from the fly ash. The heating chamber is also used to preheat untreated fly ash received through a preheating chamber before it is introduced into the heating chamber.

  • Patent number: 4723870
Abstract: A wheel assembly is disclosed for use with a soil compactor device. The assembly includes a wheel journaled about an axle and carrying a plurality of compacting members at the periphery thereof for compressing soil as the wheel rotates about the axle. A member for mounting the wheel assembly to the compactor device is journaled about the axle. The mounting member is adapted for carrying and rotating the wheel while applying compressive force through the wheel to compact soil with the compacting members. A roller bearing assembly couples the mounting member to the axle and is adapted to absorb both radial and axial loading forces exerted by the wheel and the mounting member. Finally, a mechanism for detachably locking the wheel onto the axle is provided.

  • Patent number: 3945162
Abstract: A tire chain device includes a backing plate mountable between the wheel and brake drum of a vehicle and having a continuous circular anchor rod as part thereof. A plurality of cross chains are connected at one end to a main chain member extending around the outer face of the vehicle tire with the opposite or inner ends of the cross chains having a hook thereon adapted to be releasably anchored to the circular rod on the backing plate. The main chain includes a tensioning hook adapted to tighten the main chain to draw the cross chains tightly across the periphery of the tire.
