    Abstract: A PH measuring device having a first and second lumen with adjacent first ends, wherein the first lumen has a sensor electrode secured to the first end and the second lumen has a fibrous absorbent plug closing the first end, with an absorbent thread attached to the plug, and extending through the second lumen. An electric conductor connected to the sensor electrode extends through the first lumen to an electrical meter.
