    Abstract: A method for counteracting heeling of a vessel due to a movement of first masses on the vessel, by means of movement of second masses thereon, which movements create respective static movements upon the vessel's center of gravity. The movement of the second masses is performed synchronously with the movement of the first masses by ensuring that the static movement which is generated by the movement of the second masses continuously and completely counteracts the static movement as a result of the movement of the first masses. A device is set forth for implementing the method.
