  • Patent number: 11956612
Abstract: The present invention relates to a motor for an electrodynamic loudspeaker, comprising a magnetic circuit assembly arranged about a motor axis. The magnetic circuit assembly comprises: an outer magnet, a magnetically permeable top plate, a magnetically permeable bottom plate, a center pole piece and an air gap for receipt of a voice coil. The air gap is formed by an inner axially extending wall of the magnetically permeable top plate facing an axially extending peripheral wall section of the center pole piece to define a width, a bottom, a top and height of the air gap. The magnetic circuit assembly additionally comprises outwardly projecting magnetically permeable member arranged above the top of the air gap. The center pole piece comprises a magnetic member extending axially from at least the bottom of the air gap to a magnetically permeable bottom member or to the magnetically permeable bottom plate.

The center pole piece has a magnetic member extending axially from the bottom of the air gap to a magnetically permeable bottom member or to the bottom plate. The magnetic member exhibits a relative AC magnetic permeability smaller than 10, which corresponds to the relative AC magnetic permeability of free air.

  • Patent number: 7159602
Abstract: A flow measuring valve device (1) for fluid, the flow measuring valve (1) comprising a first restriction (48) and a second restriction (76) connected in series with the first restriction (48), the flow rates of said restrictions (48, 76) being unequally dependent on the viscosity of the fluid, and a method for determining the viscosity of the fluid by means of the device.

  • Publication number: 20060096645
Abstract: A hydraulic directional control valve assembly adapted for use subsea without a pilot valve stage and its methods of use are disclosed. The hydraulic directional control valve assembly comprises a pulse operated hydraulic directional control valve, a separate fail safe mechanism to bring the valve to a predetermined position and a single electric actuator operatively connected to the hydraulic directional control valve, the hydraulic directional control valve having a first and second position relative to electric actuator, the electric actuator further adapted to selectively change the position of the hydraulic directional control valve with respect to passageway with which hydraulic directional control valve may be in communication, in this manner selectively change the direction of the fluid flow through hydraulic directional control valve.
