  • Patent number: 12209798
Abstract: A method for authenticating remote access to a reefer control system, the method including establishing a connection between a communication device and a container controller, requesting access to container data via the container controller, providing authorization information to the container controller, determining based on verification of the provided authorization information in a database an access level for accessing container data by the communication device. The container controller is further configured to self-diagnose any error and include the diagnosis in an error report to the communication device. Also disclosed is a communication device for securely accessing a reefer control system that carries out such a method, and a computer program product configured to cause execution of such a method. Further disclosed is a reefer control system for providing secure remote access to such a container controller.

  • Publication number: 20030162165
Abstract: The present invention involves that adding certain dyes to the solution outside cells expressing a GFP-tagged proteins in a redistribution assay, enhance the signal. Examples of such dyes are Trypan Blue and Acid Red. This enables redistribution assays to be measured as a change in light intensity. Redistribution movement from the cytosol to the membrane, or vice versa, are illustrated. The apparatus used for measuring the redistribution is an ordinary plate reader or a FLIPRTM type instrument. It is a common feature among the dyes described that the enhancer compound has an absorption spectrum overlapping the emission spectrum of the GFP.

  • Patent number: 5356075
Abstract: An atomizer wheel comprising a central hub for securing the wheel on a rotatable shaft in a centrifugal atomizer associated with an atomizer drying system, a ring-shaped acceleration chamber arranged around the hub and having an upper ring opening through which the liquid to be atomized may be added to the acceleration chamber, at least one throw-out face for passing the liquid outwardly in the atomizer wheel in a direction toward its periphery, and a plurality of throw-out channels which, distributed with a mutual angular distance along the periphery of the acceleration chamber, extend transversely out through the outer wall of the chamber and serve to throw the liquid out of the acceleration chamber during the rotation of the atomizer wheel. At least one throw-out face is provided on a separate wear ring which is provided on the atomizer wheel and comprises a hard and wear resistant material.
