Abstract: A device configuration method for a vehicle in a fleet of vehicles comprises, at a computing device communicatively coupled to electronic devices provided in the vehicle, obtaining at least one template configuration file assigned to the computing device based on a user selection, the at least one template configuration file specific to the fleet of vehicles and comprising first configuration data indicative of a manner in which the computing device is to interface with the electronic devices, and second configuration data indicative of a desired setting for at least one configuration parameter of one or more electronic devices, automatically self-configuring for operation based on the first configuration data, and transmitting, at least in part, the second configuration data to the one or more electronic devices to cause the one or more electronic devices to adjust the at least one configuration parameter to the desired setting.

Abstract: Method, systems, and computer-readable media for securely executing a script on a computer appliance are disclosed. A script payload is obtained from a requesting entity via an interface of the computer appliance, the script payload comprising the script and script security data. Multiple authentication factors for the script are obtained from the script security data, the multiple authentication factors comprising at least some nested authentication factors, wherein a first one of the authentication factors is encapsulated within a second one of the authentication factors. A first validation is performed to authenticate the script and the first authentication factor based on the second authentication factor and to generate a validated first authentication factor. A second validation is performed to authenticate the script based on the validated first authentication factor. Responsive to the script being authenticated by the first and second validations, the script is executed on the computer appliance.

The method includes initializing a shared write pointer to a first location in a shared memory of a data storage system, and receiving a plurality of data records transferred by a plurality of data sources for storage in the shared memory. The method also includes, beginning with a first of the plurality of data sources, writing in a cyclic sequence one of the plurality of data records for each of the plurality of data sources based on the shared write pointer, and incrementing the shared write pointer after each writing, and updating at least a header portion of the shared memory with the shared write pointer responsive to each writing.
