  • Patent number: 11678863
Abstract: An auditory guidance system and method for medical systems and procedures are disclosed. A method for providing auditory guidance during a medical procedure includes selecting a song for playing during the medical procedure. At least a portion of the song is assigned to the medical procedure. Parameter information for at least one parameter associated with the medical procedure is obtained during the medical procedure. The obtained parameter information is compared against predetermined thresholds for each parameter. The portion of the song associated with the parameter information is modified in accordance with the comparison and the modified portion of the song is played to provide auditory guidance during the medical procedure.

  • Patent number: 11324419
Abstract: While obtaining electrophysiologic data from a cardiac catheter a series of visual displays are presented. The displays include a respective current image of the heart and the distal portion of the cardiac catheter therein and further include a catheter icon that represents the distal portion of the cardiac catheter, The catheter icon is separated from the image of the heart in the displays. The catheter icon has indicia that represent functional elements of the cardiac catheter.

  • Patent number: 11295835
Abstract: An interactive event timeline system and method are disclosed. Multiple events and/or signal indicators are captured during a medical procedure, such as a cardiac procedure. Event data relevant to the cardiac procedure may include, tags, user generated points, ablation events, pacing events and other like events. An interactive event timeline is generated from the captured events and displayed on a visual display device. The interactive event timeline is correlated with a vertical listing of the events and a selected event viewer. All three views may be displayed simultaneously. The interactive event timeline allows a physician or user (collectively “user”) to see temporal relationships between the captured events. The user can see, for example, simultaneous events, long duration events versus short duration events, continuous events and specific event types.

  • Publication number: 20210401348
Abstract: The present system allows for the physician to change the relative height of the signal to allow for examination of details of the signals, while maintaining an ability to interpret signal voltage levels absolutely based on color or other secondary mechanism beyond signal height. The disclosed system and method provide for faster and more accurate analysis based upon the color of the signal. The signal height may change, such as to view, display, or examine details of the signal, while the colors of the display do not. The color scale of the signal provides an absolute scaling of the signal regardless of the displayed height.

  • Patent number: 10932876
Abstract: A haptic feedback device receives a signal reflecting pressure exerted by a medical tool against an anatomical surface. A fastener secures the feedback device to, for example, a wrist of an operator. A haptic exertion component exerts haptic stimulation to the operator based on the received signal such that when the received signal reflects a pressure being exerted by the medical tool against the anatomical surface of a patient is in a defined range for operation of the medical tool, the exertion component exerts haptic stimulation at a predetermined level that indicates pressure of the medical tool is being exerted in the defined range. Otherwise, the exertion component does not exert a level of haptic stimulation that is equal to or more than the predetermined level or the exertion component exerts a level of haptic stimulation to the operator that is more than the predetermined level.

  • Patent number: 10452263
Abstract: A method of registering a patient face and using it as a touchpad interface is provided. The method includes steps of acquiring a three-dimensional anatomical image of a patient face, identifying multiple anatomical points at the predefined locations on the patient face in a first coordinate system and assigning at least one function to at least one predefined location, receiving multiple positions in a second coordinate system at the respective predefined locations on the patient face, registering the first and second coordinate systems, by correlating between the positions and the respective anatomical points on the patient face, triggering a command corresponding to the at least one assigned function and communicating the command to an electronic device. A system for registering a patient face by the method is described.
