  • Patent number: 6655321
Abstract: An adapter for converting a foldable pet shelter into a self encased pet crate. The crate adapter has an end panel and a bottom panel, both of which may be joined together. The end panel is removably attachable to the foldable pet shelter along the back edge perimeter of the left side, right side, and top panels of the foldable pet shelter, while the bottom panel is removably attachable to the foldable pet shelter along the bottom edge perimeter of the left side, right side, and front side panels of the foldable pet shelter. Component lock elements positioned along various locations on the end and bottom panels of the adapter provide elements for removably securing the adapter to the foldable pet shelter, thereby converting the joined components into a self encased pet crate having a top panel, a right side panel, a left side panel, a front panel, a back panel, and a bottom panel.

  • Patent number: 6203168
Abstract: A process for using an illuminating box for facilitating the level installation of tiles. The illuminating box has a top and four sides which are opaque. The bottom is light transmitting and lies in a single plane so that when a portion of the bottom is placed on one tile and the box is allowed to overhang an adjacent tile, light will escape on any area which lies below the bottom plane of the illuminating box. The process includes the steps of laying at least two tiles on a substrate and turning on the light in the illuminating box. Next, the box is placed on one tile so that its bottom edges extend over an adjacent tile. Next, the resulting light pattern on top of the floor tiles is observed to illuminate any lack of flatness.

  • Patent number: 6029609
Abstract: A foldable pet shelter for attachment around a pet door against the interior surface of an exterior door of a house. The pet shelter has a top panel which is hinged to the interior surface of an exterior door above a pet door. A right side panel and a left side panel are hingedly held along the sides of the top panel and when the shelter is unfolded, the top panel, side panels and an end panel provide a shelter within a residence which permits a pet to enter the residence from the outdoors but retains the pet within the confines of the shelter. This provides a warm or cool place for the pet during inclement weather while still not permitting the pet to roam around the house.

  • Patent number: 5675940
Abstract: A skylight leakage barrier for reducing the tendency of a skylight assembly to leak during heavy rainstorms. The skylight leakage barrier has a generally vertical top barrier which extends across the top edge of the skylight assembly. The top barrier has two downwardly depending side barriers and the top barrier and side barriers are separated from the skylight assembly by a distance of several inches. The result of the use of the leakage barrier is a substantial reduction in the tendency of the skylight assembly to leak during heavy rainstorms.
