  • Patent number: 11190847
Abstract: A video textbook environment may provide video textbooks for students in various classes at various institutions. The video textbook environment may provide a web interface that displays videos and enables students to take notes regarding the videos. The student may request bookmarks be placed on a video. These bookmarks may be selected to return the video to the designated portion associated with the bookmark. The notes may be timestamped to correspond with a video counter value, such as where a bookmark is positioned. In this fashion, a student's notes may be associated with a given location in the bookmark. Notes may be aggregated for partitions of the video textbook. In particular, notes can be stored in a database a query may be issued to aggregate notes for a selected partition. The notes may then be displayed or downloaded to a user, such as a student.

  • Publication number: 20200258407
Abstract: A video lab book environment provides online lab materials. The lab materials include video content. A student may access the lab materials remotely via a computing device. An instructor version enables an instructor to organize lab materials, modify lab materials and interact with students. An instructor may generate quizzes that may be taken online by students and automatically graded. Lab reports may be completed and submitted online. An instructor may provide grade reports online for students. A plagiarism checker may check with any portion of the lab reports have been plagiarized.

  • Publication number: 20070065862
Abstract: The present invention provides an isolated interaction polynucleotide that contains a tag sequence and two or more genetic elements. The present invention also provides a method for identifying an interaction between two or more genetic elements. One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for analyzing and identifying the interaction between two or more genetic elements under various culture conditions or as a result of differentiation or pathological cellular development, wherein the genetic elements interact to stimulate or inhibit cell growth.

  • Publication number: 20070065861
Abstract: The present invention provides methods for large-scale functional analysis of splicing variants. Specifically, the present methods provide polynucleotide probes that incorporate exon junction sequences arising from alternative splicing events. In one embodiment of this invention, the function of a splice variant is determined by identifying a polynucleotide comprising an exon junction that binds one or more polynucleotide isolated from sample cells yet binds a reduced amount or greater amount of polynucleotide isolated from sample cells exposed to altered conditions.
