  • Patent number: 7538825
Abstract: A transmitter includes: frequency conversion means for collectively frequency-converting terrestrial digital TV broadcast signals inputted such that the frequency of terrestrial digital TV broadcast signals of a viewing desired channel inputted by viewing desired channel input means, among the terrestrial digital TV broadcast signals inputted, are converted to a frequency of a specific unused channel of a predetermined VHF band; filter means for extracting only TV broadcast signals of the specific unused channel of the predetermined VHF band among the TV broadcast signals obtained by the frequency conversion means; and transmission means for amplifying and wirelessly transmitting the TV broadcast signals extracted by the filter means.

  • Patent number: 7061544
Abstract: A digital television receiver includes a CS receive circuit (12). This CS receive circuit receives a digital television broadcast signal. The digital television broadcast signal contains video data from which first video data is created as well as EPG data from which second video data is created. First and second video compression circuits (18, 20) respectively compress first and second video data and output first and second compression video signals. The first and second compression video signals are composited together by a video compositing circuit (22). Consequently, on the monitor (24) are displayed EPG and broadcast video picture in a 2-screens form.

  • Publication number: 20060053453
Abstract: The present invention provides a wireless redistribution system for terrestrial digital TV broadcasting applied to a TV receiver capable of receiving signals of a VHF band in addition to signals of a UHF band as a frequency band of terrestrial digital TV broadcast signals. The system comprises: a transmitter, into which terrestrial digital TV broadcast signals received by an outdoor antenna are inputted, for converting the frequency of the inputted terrestrial digital TV broadcast signals to a frequency of an unused channel of the VHF band collectively, and then amplifying and transmitting them wirelessly; and a receiver for receiving and amplifying signals transmitted from the transmitter, and then supplying them to the TV receiver.

  • Patent number: 4982279
Abstract: A digital television receiver capable of storing a desired television image information in response to an image storage instruction signal and reproducing the stored image information as a still image on the screen of a display tube (116) at any time as required. This digital television receiver comprises a control circuit (117', 122a) for writing desired image information in any of field memories (120a, 120b) in response to pressing of a memo key (128) of a remote controller (118), and a control circuit (117', 122b) for repeatedly reading out image information written in the field memories (120a, 120b) in response to pressing of a call key (129) of the remote controller (118) and supplying the information to a color matrix circuit (114).

  • Patent number: 4561100
Abstract: A digital signal receiver is structured to receive and demodulate a digital signal. Such digital signal may comprise, for example, a television signal of character multiplex transmission having a digital signal included in the vertical blanking period of the television signal and a digital signal receiver may be structured to reproduce the digital signal from the television signal. The digital signal includes a clock run-in signal (CRI), a framing code signal (FRC) and a bit serial data signal (DA) disposed in succession. An error of the framing code or the data signal caused by a low frequency region group delay characteristic of a transmission path between the transmission and the demodulation is detected based on the digital signal. Upon detection of an error, a waveform distortion of the framing code signal and the data signal is corrected by means of a correcting circuit (15) such as an LC circuit, whereby an error of the data signal to be demodulated thereafter is prevented.
