  • Patent number: 6027288
Abstract: A working apparatus comprising, a base, a work piece supporting and rotating means on the base to hold and rotate a work piece, a working tool unit on the base to hold a working tool to be rotatable and which forwardly and rearwardly moves in horizontal direction toward the work piece via a slider mechanism, a pressing means to press the working tool unit in horizontal direction at a constant pressing force toward the work piece, and a profiling means on the working tool unit to forwardly and rearwardly move by profiling an outer periphery of the work piece through being in contact with the work piece in horizontal direction and thereby to move the whole working tool unit in forward and rearward directions.

  • Patent number: 5831360
Abstract: An actuator is designed such that the output shaft of an AC servo motor is rotatably supported on both sides thereof by respective bearing means. This output shaft, the rotor of the AC servo motor, secured to the output shaft, and both bearing means of the AC servo motor can be pulled out together as a unit from inside of the stator of the AC servo motor during disassembly. Another actuator is designed such that the output shaft of an AC servo motor is rotatably supported on both sides thereof by respective bearing means, loads to be respectively applied to the bearing means are transmitted to a housing disposed around the AC servo motor without going through the stator of the AC servo motor, one of the bearing means is fixed in its axial direction and the other bearing means has axial play in its axial direction.

  • Patent number: 5720202
Abstract: An actuator designed in such a way that a feed screw having both ends respectively supported in a rotatable manner by a pair of bearing members arranged on a base is moved in the proper direction by a rotary driver, and as a feed nut engaged with the feed screw with its rotation being restricted by the feed screw is moved in accordance with the rotation of the feed screw, a slider attached to the feed nut is moved. A pair of support members are provided midway between the slider and the bearing members located on both sides of the slider and are movable in a feeding direction. The support members support the feed screw while their postures are restricted in a direction perpendicular to the feeding direction. The support members are coupled by first coupling means. Rotary bodies are respectively attached to the support members in a rotatable manner, with a thread member put around those rotary bodies. The thread member has both ends coupled to the slider and has its center portion secured to the base.
