    Abstract: An external composition for skin comprises 0.1% by mass to 8% by mass of a non-emulsified silicone elastomer; a polyether-modified silicone surfactant; and a hydrophilic nonionic surfactant. The hydrophilic nonionic surfactant comprises a glycerin-derived surfactant. The polyether-modified silicone surfactant is 0.3 part by mass or more with respect to 1 part by mass of the silicone elastomer. The glycerin-derived surfactant is 0.2 part by mass or more with respect to 1 part by mass of the silicone elastomer. In a case where an amphoteric surfactant is included, the amphoteric surfactant is 1.5 parts by mass or less with respect to 1 part by mass of the glycerin-derived surfactant. The viscosity of the composition is 9,500 mPa·s or less.
