    Abstract: Print images of all templates in a category are displayed in a template display region. The quantity of templates to be displayed can be freely set using a display quantity spin box and templates in excess of the display quantity can be scrolled. If a text object in a template is selected and direct text data input is executed, inputted data is displayed within that object in a state in which its characters are modified and, further, the input result is displayed in a text box, so that editing is enabled. The editing content is reflected upon a corresponding object of other templates by pressing a display update button or clicking another area, so that the display content of the template display region is updated.

    Abstract: In a data processing unit, a range desired to be imported into a database from inputted text created with word processing or spreadsheet software, or as part of an e-mail, is selected and after that, an add-in program is started. The selected text is divided into records composed of several lines according to a stored record allocation condition and if the characters at the heads of lines in a record are identical, those characters are deleted and a character string on a first line is determined to be of a name attribute and a character string of remaining lines is determined to be of an address attribute. Then, the data can be stored in fields of databases corresponding to the attributes.

    Abstract: An apparatus for monitoring the immediate surroundings of a vehicle displays on a display within the vehicle cabin a captured image of the vehicle immediate surroundings captured by a camera mounted on a back door which can open and close. The apparatus determines whether the back door is open based on a signal output from a back door courtesy switch. If it is determined that the back door is open, a written notification that the back door is open is superimposed on the display showing the captured image from the camera. If it is determined that the back door is not open, the written notification is not shown.
