  • Patent number: 6032935
Abstract: The present invention provides a liquid enclosing type vibration isolating mount comprising a vibration isolating base member 16, a diaphragm 20 and a partition member 22 for vertically dividing a space between the former two into upper and lower liquid chambers 24 and 26. The partition member 22 is made of a press worked metal plate which is held in contact with the periphery of the diaphragm 20 to provide an orifice path 28 for establishing communication between the liquid chambers 24 and 26. The vibration isolating mount of the present invention has the following advantages: The partition member 22 is made of a press worked metal plate so that the manufacturing cost can be saved; since the periphery of the diaphragm 20 is used as a part of the wall of the orifice path 28, the axial length of the mount can be shortened and the shape of the mount is simplified; and the pressing process of the partition member 22 is facilitated.

  • Patent number: 5897092
Abstract: A liquid filled vibration isolating mount has upper and lower metal fittings for fixing the vibration isolating mount to a supporting body and a supported body. A rubber vibration isolating body has a tubular shape defining a central cavity and has upper and lower ends defining an upper face and a bottom face which are respectively fixed to the upper and lower metal fittings. The upper metal fitting defines an aperture communicating with the central cavity and a partition member is connected to the upper metal fitting occluding the aperture. A diaphragm is attached to the upper metal fitting covering at least a portion of the partition member. The central cavity of the vibration isolating base body and the partition member define a first liquid chamber wherein the vibration isolating base body constitutes a portion of a chamber wall. The diaphragm and the partition member define a second liquid chamber.

  • Patent number: 4756515
Abstract: A fluid-damping vibration-isolating support device comprising a main support body having a rubber base member and a closed enclosure internally thereof; and a partition plate dividing the enclosure into two chambers which intercommunicate through an orifice and are filled with a liquid. The partition plate comprises a separator member and a stopper member. The separator member is formed of an outer peripheral thick wall portion having an orifice and an inner thin flat plate portion having at least one through-hole. The stopper member has two opposed plate sections provided so as to cover the through-hole and is captured to the separator member slightly movably to the degree that the plate sections are in contact with or separate from both faces of the flat plate portion. The stopper member serves to close upon low frequency vibration and open upon high frequency vibration, so that in the high frequency region rise of hydraulic pressure can be suppressed and dynamic spring rate can be lowered.
