  • Patent number: 8613225
Abstract: In an inspection device for inspecting front and back surfaces of a strip material rolled by a rolling machine, both ends of the strip material along a longitudinal direction of the strip material are claimed by two pairs of clamping devices and the front surface of the back surface of the strip material is pressed at an optional position between the two pairs of the clamping devices by at least one pressing device. Thus, after clamping the strip material, the two pairs of the clamping devices are not displaced along the longitudinal direction of the strip material. A function for applying tensile stress to the strip material and a function for clamping the strip material are individually and separately provided so that the inspection device can be simplified. By pressing the strip material at a point between the two pairs of the clamping devices, at least one of pressing devices can be down sized. It is superior in view of an economical reason.

  • Patent number: 7575544
Abstract: An oil recovery apparatus for a roll apparatus by which oil inside a roll mantle can be recovered efficiently even when the roll mantle rotates at a high speed. The roll apparatus includes shoe (5) having a contact portion (7) positioned at an upper portion inside a roll mantle (4), and an oil recovery pan (8) for recovering oil (50) entrained inside the roll mantle (4) upon rotation of the roll mantle (4). The oil recovery pan is disposed below the contact portion (7) on an upstream side in the direction of rotation of the roll mantle (4) with respect to the contact portion (7). Further, an outer edge upper end portion (12) of the oil recovery pan (8) extends to a position proximate to the inner circumferential face of the roll mantle (4) within a range in which the outer edge upper end portion (12) does not interfere with an oil film formed from the oil (50) entrained inside the roll mantle (4).

  • Patent number: 4097805
Abstract: This invention provides a frequency-synthesizer type transceiver having a voltage-controlled oscillator and means for comparing the phases of mixed frequency, whereby the voltage-controlled oscillator is regulated by signals resulting from the phase comparison to generate a controlled frequency serving as the local oscillator frequency for transmitting and receiving. The frequency-synthesizer type transceiver further includes a means for selectively switching from the one carrier frequency to the other to differentiate the transmitting and receiving frequencies.
