Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to perform good illumination and obtain a good captured image when a plurality of users each having a camera-equipped portable information terminal device gather in the same place. A camera-equipped portable information terminal device is provided with: an imaging unit that captures an image of a subject; a first illumination means for illuminating the subject; a first communication unit that communicates with other portable information terminal devices; and a first control unit that controls the imaging unit and the first communication unit. The first control unit transmits a light emission instruction signal to the other portable information terminal devices via the first communication unit, and causes a second illumination means of each of the other portable information terminal devices to emit light in tandem with an imaging operation of the imaging unit.

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a suitable user-friendliness to a user regarding a recommendation of application software on a portable information terminal. In order to accomplish the purpose, this portable information terminal is configured to set an application as a recommendation candidate when the status of the portable information terminal matches a condition corresponding to the application, and recommend the application when the application further matches a pre-set recommendation permitting condition. Hence, the portable information terminal and the application recommending method thereof capable of providing a preferable user-friendliness to the user can be provided.

Abstract: A novel mannanase. A polypeptide having a specific amino acid sequence such as the amino acid represented by SEQ ID NO:2 exhibits a mannanase activity. Although this mannanase does not have homology with known mannanase at the amino acid level, the polypeptide has a mannanase activity as well as heat resistance.

Abstract: A case is formed by Injection molding of composition of resin and includes an accommodation chamber which is formed therein for holding functional components. The composition of resin contains from 40 to 70 wt % of polybutylene terephthalate resin (PBT) and from 60 to 30 wt % of acrylonitrile-butadlene-styrene (ABS). The case satisfies a superior rigidity, impact load carrying capacity and chemical resistance.

Abstract: A resinous cylinder comprises a cylindrical portion with an open end and a closed end, and is formed by flowing raw material of resin from the center of the closed end. A first attaching portion is disposed at the side of the open end of the cylindrical portion and has a hole for securing to a vehicle body. A flange portion has a second attaching portion disposed at the side of the closed end. The second attaching portion has a hole for securing the resinous cylinder to the vehicle body. A resin flowing portion is formed between the second attaching portion and the closed end of the cylindrical portion. A connecting portion connects the first attaching portion and the second attaching portion through a clearance with the cylindrical portion. A volume of the flange portion is reduced so that a resin flowing speed of the flange portion is faster than a resin flowing speed of the cylindrical portion.
