    Abstract: A system and method for generating power using air as the working medium. External air is compressed by an air compressor and heated by a heat exchanger and then used to cause rotation of an air turbine. The air is then mixed with fuel in a combustion chamber to allow for combustion. The resulting combustion gas is used by the heat exchanger to heat the incoming external air.
