The first substrate comprises an array of three primary color sub-pixel regions and a white sub-pixel region. Each pixel region has a transistor and a storage capacitor with respect to the transistor. The storage capacitor with respect to the storage capacitor of the white sub-pixel region is disposed within the area of one of the three primary color sub-pixel regions.
