    Abstract: The disclosed optical logic circuit operating by controlling the reflection of light comprises: a first waveguide, at least a portion of which is formed into the shape of a straight line; a second waveguide branched at a predetermined angle from the first waveguide; and a first reflector having a refractive index that varies based on a first input signal, the first reflector selecting either the first waveguide or the second waveguide as a pathway of light. The value of the signal of a first output terminal provided through the first waveguide and the value of the signal of a second output terminal provided through the second waveguide can be adjusted using the first input signal.

    Abstract: Optical refraction and reflection control can be achieved by means of semiconductor silicon which has a p-n junction structure and a waveguide structure. According to the optical device using semiconductors of the present invention, the amplitude of light can be directly modulated using the reflection or refraction control. The optical device according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention includes: a first waveguide on which an optical signal is incident, and which is formed in the same direction as that of the incident optical signal; a second waveguide that forms a fixed angle with the first waveguide; and a reflector which is capable of selecting a path of the optical signal to the first waveguide or to the second waveguide as a refractive index is changed according to an applied voltage, and which is formed to have a fixed angle of inclination with respect to the first waveguide.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an optical printed circuit board (PCB) having a multi-channel optical waveguide, which comprises: an optical waveguide having an optical path for transmitting light beams; a groove for penetrating the optical waveguide; and an optical interconnection block inserted in the groove and connected to the optical waveguide to transmit the light beams, wherein the optical interconnection block includes an optical fiber bundle bent by the angle of 90°. The optical interconnection block connects a plurality of multi-layered optical waveguides to transmit light beams to the optical waveguides. The optical fiber bundle is installed as a medium of the multi-channel optical waveguide in the optical PCB.
