Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and system for saving battery power. The method comprises: determining whether a new program has been initiated by a user and, when a new program has been initiated by the user, storing the new program initiated by the user in a history database; determining whether the user is connected to a network and, when the user is connected to a network, storing a network connection record of the user in the history database; determining whether a battery level triggers a dynamic power saving schedule and, when the battery level triggers the dynamic power saving schedule, performing the power saving schedule using a power saving scheduling engine; and determining whether a screen being turned off triggers a dynamic network schedule and, when the screen being turned off triggers the dynamic network schedule, performing the network schedule using a network scheduling engine.
