The wireless device may determine a first set of information about a first environment in which the wireless device is located at a first time. The wireless device may also determine a second set of information about a second environment in which the wireless device is located at a second time. The wireless device may perform a comparison of the first set of information and the second set of information and adjust a time period between successive scans based on the comparison.
