  • Patent number: 10069584
Abstract: A frequency calibration apparatus and method are provided. An oscillator of the frequency calibration apparatus has an operation frequency. The frequency calibration apparatus receives a plurality of time packets from an NTP server at a plurality of first time points. Each of the time packets records a second time point that the NTP server transmits the time packet. The frequency calibration apparatus calculates an offset for each of the time packets in a subset of all the time packets, calculates a clock skew according to the first time points and the offsets of the time packets in the subset, calculates a difference between the clock skew and a standard frequency value, determines that an absolute value of the difference is greater than a threshold, and adjusts the operation frequency to an initial frequency after determining that the absolute value of the difference is greater than the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20180139031
Abstract: The disclosure involves a device and a method of generating a self-interference cancellation signal for a full-duplex communication device. The device is configured to: detect a strength value of a self-interference signal; adjust a strength value of a first reference signal to the strength value of the self-interference signal to generate a second reference signal; adjust the second reference signal according to a predetermined adjustment parameter corresponding to each of a circle of phase angle values respectively to generate a plurality of third reference signals; determine a difference between each of the third reference signals and a receiving signal of the full-duplex communication device including the self-interference signal; and determine one of the third reference signals that corresponds to the smallest of the differences as a self-interference cancellation signal for canceling the self-interference signal.

  • Patent number: 6480581
Abstract: An Internet/telephone adapter device and method is provided to automatically detect the communication type of an incoming call. The Internet/telephone adapter device comprises an auto-detecting means for providing a mechanism to detect the communication type of an incoming call by means of the feature rings. The feature rings have a predetermined feature distinguishable from non-feature rings. Whenever the auto-detecting means determines the communication type of the incoming call, it sends a control signal to CPU. In response to the control signal, the CPU will automatically switch the linkage to the Internet or to the PSTNs without further human operations.

  • Patent number: 6427200
Abstract: A multiple changeable addressing mapping circuit is disclosed for converting an input logic address of a field array in a data array into an output physical address. The circuit has multiple address mappers for process the conversion between the input logical address and the output physical address. The circuit also has a mapper selector for selecting an address mapper to output physical address. The circuit further has a control and interface circuit for setting the registers in the address mapper, and controlling the address mapper and mapper selector.

  • Patent number: 5178386
Abstract: A throat piece for a racket includes a throat body made of a transparent rigid plastic and having a series of spaced string holes formed thereon. The throat body has a curved top face, a bottom face and a pair of racket engaging sides which interconnect the top and bottom faces. The bottom face is formed with a narrow card receiving slot of predetermined depth so as to receive a thin printed card. At least one of the engaging sides is provided with a socket to receive a decorative plug. A protective string guide is disposed adjacent to the bottom face and has a plate portion which supports the printed card in the card receiving slot and a series of tubular string receiving portions extending upwardly from the plate portion and into the string holes. The throat piece can thus obviate the need for executing a painting or fastening step to print the manufacturer's logo or brand name thereon.
