  • Publication number: 20160331391
Abstract: This invention is an advanced tissue gripping forceps with novel design of forcep's jaw best suitable for medical surgery. The novel tissue holding forceps has first and second arms with two ends each i.e Head and rear end; and jaws at the heads of each arms of the forceps. The rear ends of two arms of the forceps are coupled together. The second ends, the head of the First and Second arms of the forceps form opposing First and second jaws which are resiliently biased apart. The First and second jaws each include a plurality of sharp, directly opposing sharp elongated teeth to grip the tissue firmly during the use. The both jaws has a deep “CUT” in the center which makes jaw as “U” shape. This novel design enable fast and easy surgical operations by reducing the time of operation by facilitating the stitching and other surgical operations.

  • Publication number: 20100044169
Abstract: The present invention is predicated upon improved vehicle brake assemblies, caliper assemblies, or combinations thereof, having at least one slide pin including an exterior surface and a first end, a caliper body including at least one pin bore for receiving the at least one slide pin at an inboard end, the at least one pin bore has an exterior surface and a cap groove that includes a groove wall defining a recess into the exterior surface of the at least one pin bore, and at least one pin cap that includes an edge portion that is engageable with the groove wall of the cap groove and a hinge portion extending in between the edge portion and a lid portion, the hinge portion including at least one bend that displaces the lid portion relative to the hinge portion to allow for deformation of the at least one pin cap.

  • Publication number: 20100026813
Abstract: A first video characteristic value is determined from a video/audio signal. The first video characteristic value is embedded in an audio portion of the video/audio signal and the video/audio signal is transmitted from a transmission source to a transmission destination. At the destination, the first video characteristic value is recovered and the received video/audio signal is used to determine a second video characteristic value. The recovered first video characteristic value is used to verify or check the second video characteristic value. By comparing the first and second video characteristic values, a determination is made about degradation of the received video/audio signal. In one example, a determination is made as to whether a lip-sync error has likely occurred. In another example, the audio-transmitted first video characteristic is used for copyright protection purposes.

  • Patent number: 7467693
Abstract: A disc brake return spring comprises a V-shaped spring having two spring members, with each member ending in an engagement leg. Each engagement leg is angled with respect to the spring legs in a fashion so that the spring applies a moment to the friction pad to counteract rotation that occurs about the backing plate supports. The return spring is employed in a disc brake assembly having friction pads with backing plates that are disposed on either side of a rotor for braking purposes.

  • Patent number: 7318503
Abstract: A brake caliper mounting clip is disposed between a brake caliper having a brake pad channel and a brake pad having an edge member. The edge member moves in the brake pad channel between a rotor gap and a caliper housing. The clip further comprises a pad holding portion slidingly engaged with the edge member and having a plurality of pad retaining members. The pad retaining members are connected to the pad holding portion and disposed between the edge member and the rotor gap. The plurality of the pad retaining members is further configured to prevent the brake pad from falling into the rotor gap. Additionally the edge member of the brake pad and the plurality of pad retaining members are configured to prevent improper installation of the brake pads in the caliper.

  • Publication number: 20060237269
Abstract: A caliper assembly has a body member, a support bracket and a pair of brake assemblies. At least one retaining clip is coupled with each brake assembly. The retaining clip includes a first, second and third portion. The third portion is adapted to contact the caliper support bracket to prevent the brake pad assembly from falling into the rotor clearance gap. The second portion provides a gap between the third portion and the support bracket to provide enough distance to enable proper functioning of the brake pad assembly while prohibiting the brake pad assembly from falling into the rotor clearance gap.
