    Abstract: A sample while logging tool for downhole fluid sampling and production logging may include a sample collector sub and a sensor sub. The sample collector sub may include a body defining a bore extending from a first end to a second end. One or more sample chambers may be housed in the bore. The sample chamber may collect a fluid sample. At least one probe may be coupled to the sample chamber to measure fluid properties of the collected fluid sample within the sample chamber and transmit the fluid properties. A piston may be coupled to the first end having a gate distal to the first end. The piston may be actuated to open and close an opening of the sample chamber. Additionally, the sensor sub may measure and transmit data on fluids within a well to form production logging data.

    Abstract: A wireline operation method is disclosed. The method includes disposing an outer diameter (OD) meter ring on a wireline, the OD meter ring having spring-loaded sensors, releasing, from a spooling drum into the wellbore, the wireline via a wireline passage having a tight spot, a released portion of the wireline progressively passing through an opening of the OD meter ring, generating, using the spring-loaded sensors, a real time OD measurement of a current location of the wireline passing through the opening of the OD meter ring at the time of measurement, generating, in response to the real time OD measurement of a particular location of the wireline exceeding a pre-determined threshold, a fail-safe signal, and stopping, in response to the fail-safe signal, the spooling drum from continuing to release the wireline before the particular location of the wireline reaches the tight spot of the wireline passage.

The nozzle is configured to cut away the portion of the barrier upon pumping of a cutting fluid through a conduit of the rod and out of the nozzle towards the barrier. The portion of the barrier is removable from the orifice of the tubular body once cut away.

    Abstract: A method for operating water wells at optimum rates involves obtaining, for each of a multitude of wells, a target rate of fluid flow, obtaining, for each target rate of fluid flow, a corresponding target differential pressure using orifice performance curves stored in a database associated with the multitude of wells, and monitoring each of the multitude of wells for noncompliance. Noncompliance is determined based on a rate deviation of an actual rate of fluid flow from the target rate of fluid flow exceeding a predetermined threshold. The rate deviation is determined based on a differential pressure deviation of a measured differential pressure corresponding to the actual rate of fluid flow from the target differential pressure corresponding to the target rate of fluid flow. The method further involves bringing a non-compliant well of the multitude of wells into compliance.

The locking pin is disposed around the LIB body. The locking device is disposed around the inner circumferential surface of the gauge cutter tubular body and is configured to mate with the locking pin to hold the LIB in a second position within the gauge cutter. The second position includes a portion of the LIB body located within the orifice and the LIB head located outside of the orifice.

The slickline unit includes the static bottomhole pressure gauge. The static bottomhole pressure gauge includes internal memory that stores a measured bottomhole pressure. The pressure setting unit sets a wellhead pressure based on the measured bottomhole pressure stored in the internal memory of the static bottomhole pressure gauge. A related method includes installing a through tubing bridge plug in a wellbore, deploying a slickline unit into the wellbore, wherein the slickline unit includes a pressure gauge, measuring bottomhole pressure with the pressure gauge, and setting a wellhead pressure based on the measured bottomhole pressure.
