  • Publication number: 20250106810
Abstract: A computerized method determines precise positions of cell towers using fixed wireless access (FWA) devices. First positioning reference signal (PRS) timing data from a plurality of FWA devices is obtained, wherein the first PRS timing data is associated with PRSs emitted by a cell tower. For each FWA device, a distance between the cell tower and the FWA device is calculated using the first PRS timing data. A cell tower position is then determined using the calculated distances and locations of the FWA devices. The determined cell tower position is then provided for determination of locations of other cellular communication-enabled devices. For instance, second PRS timing data is obtained from a mobile device and a mobile device position of the mobile device is determined using the second PRS timing data and the determined cell tower position. The determined mobile device position is then provided for locating the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 12177071
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for providing hardware configuration updates relating to equipment nodes in a network using change messages. In embodiments, the techniques may comprise receiving a status update comprising status information for one or more equipment nodes, determining, based on the status information, one or more changes in status of the one or more equipment nodes since a prior status update, and generating a change message that includes the one or more changes. The techniques may further involve providing the change message to at least one second computing device, wherein the one or more changes is used to update aggregate data maintained by the second computing device.

  • Patent number: 10904950
Abstract: Techniques for proxy based network access are discussed herein. In some examples, the techniques can be implemented in a network proxy device for Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS). A base station or a domain proxy device may manage or otherwise use CBRS resources by exchanging signaling messages with a Spectrum Access System (SAS). The base station or domain proxy device may transmit signaling messages in a first private network to a network device bridging the first private network and a second private network with limited access to a public network. The network device send proxy message(s) in response to the signaling messages to the SAS and can establish an encrypted session layer or application layer tunnel between the base station and/or domain proxy device. The proxy based network access preserves secure networks while still allowing limited messaging with other public or private networks.
