  • Patent number: 11984634
Abstract: A phase shifter assembly, suitable for a base station antenna, includes a main printed circuit board with opposing first and second primary sides. The main printed circuit board has a plurality of radio frequency (RF) transmission paths on the first primary side and a plurality of RF transmission paths on the second primary side. The phase shifter assembly also includes a first wiper arm rotatably coupled to the main printed circuit board and electrically coupled to the plurality of transmission paths on the first primary side of the main printed circuit board; and a second wiper arm rotatably coupled to the main printed circuit board and electrically coupled to the plurality of transmission paths on the second primary side of the main printed circuit board. Rearwardly extending phase shifter assemblies that are oriented perpendicular to a plane defined by a reflector within a base station antenna are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230194045
Abstract: A connector for connecting a reflector panel to a bracket includes a gripping element extending from an upper surface of a base plate of the connector. The gripping element is configured to provide isolation between the reflector panel and the bracket. The gripping element has a threaded hole adapted to receive a fastener for connecting the reflector panel with the bracket through the connector. The connector further includes an at least one locking element to facilitate locking of the connector with the reflector panel. The connector provides isolation between the reflector panel & the bracket and at the same time absorbs torque exerted on the connector during tightening of the fastener.

  • Patent number: 11581637
Abstract: A base station antenna includes first and second reflectors that are movable relative to each other, and each of the first and second reflectors includes a plurality of radiating elements on a main reflector surface thereof. A third reflector is movably coupled to the first and second reflectors, and movement of the third reflector causes the first and second reflectors to move relative to each other. A drive mechanism is utilized to move the third reflector and includes a drive shaft, an actuator configured to rotate the drive shaft, and a threaded shaft coupled to the drive shaft and configured to rotate in response to rotation of the drive shaft. Rotational movement of the threaded shaft causes linear movement of the third reflector. A control unit, such as a remote electrical tilt (RET) controller controls the actuator to rotate the driveshaft.
