  • Publication number: 20210220341
Abstract: The present application relates to securinine or norsecurinine analogues that, when administered to immature myeloid cells, promote differentiation of these cells to mature cells that do not readily proliferate. Therefore, the agents are useful in the treatment of myeloid disorders including myeloproliferative disorders, acute myeloid leukemia, and autoimmune diseases. The agents may also be used as a myeloablative agent in conjunction with a bone marrow transplant or stem cell therapy.

  • Patent number: 10972910
Abstract: Systems and methods of operating a wireless communication system are provided. A network node can receive a request from the wireless device to establish communication with the first access node. A network node can receive an indication from an authorization node that a wireless device is not authorized to communicate with a first access node. The network node can transmit a message denying the request to establish communication with the first access node to the wireless device based on the indication from the authorization node. The network node can receive a request from the wireless device to establish communication with a second access node. The network node can determine that the wireless device is authorized to establish communication with the second access node. The network node can transmit a message granting the request to establish communication with the second access node to the wireless device.

  • Patent number: 10952442
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for preparation of breads are described. The apparatuses include a press unit that can receive a dough ball and flatten the dough ball. The press unit includes a top plate and a bottom plate, each of which is in an inclined arrangement. The top plate swivels towards and away from the bottom plate. A dough ball is flattened between the top plate and the bottom plate. The bottom plate is heated, thereby heating a first face of the flattened dough in contact with the bottom plate. A flipper connected to at least one of the top plate and the bottom plate guides the flattened dough to a heated cooking surface. The guiding enables a second face of the flattened dough to come in contact with the cooking surface, thereby heating the flattened dough and forming the bread.

  • Patent number: 10694222
Abstract: Video content items are automatically, or with some user input, created for objects based on assets associated with the objects. Where the object is an application, the assets may include images of the application, footage of a user using the application, and textual descriptions or reviews of the application. The assets are arranged using templates that specify audio content to use during the video content item, as well as animations to use during the video content item. A generated video content item can be distributed with the object, or may be used to promote the object.

  • Patent number: 10183912
Abstract: The present invention provides for novel acridine-like class of compounds that have demonstrated efficiency in treating cancer. The compounds of the present invention have demonstrated efficacy in binding to and antagonizing the activity of the p53 repressor, HDMX. Once administered to a cell, the compounds of the present invention bind HDMX, thereby allowing p53 to induce apoptosis of the cancerous cell. A combination of this class of compounds along with Nutlin3 provides a novel approach to treat cancers.
